Q if you notice my never changing posts concerning some of the most controversial DJs like Tiesto and the likes, i was always screaming my lungs out to jugde a DJ by his work/production and not anything else (like his personal life or personality or anything else).. for that i surely do isolate the DJ's personali life from his production and only enjoy music for the sake of music.. best example if Yahel, IM, Astrix, and almost half of the psy producers :mrgreen:

I don't really care about the DJ/Producer's origin, as long as he doesn't care about mine...

And till now, i never had any problem or encountered a xenophob/racist DJ (although A&B's interview that was posted by BAT before they came to Lebanon was kind of on the thin line between racism and realism)... But hey, i still like those guys A LOT coz i interpreted their interview as realism, not racism...

However, i do have problems when it comes to political messages IN the music... that's not really a problem in EDM, but in Rock (specially french) it gets on my nerves sometimes: for exemple, as much as i love Noir Desir's music, some of their songs are a bit too much to the left in my opinion. Che Guevara socialist style... I just don't like listening much to these songs coz i don't agree with a single word they say!! Whenever they're on, i just don't pay attention to the meaning of the lyrics, i just enjoy the melody! But this never stopped me from buying every single Noir Desir album out there and going to their concert in Lebanon!!

well , in my opinion , this is all easier said than actually done ! I know music should be communicated on a higher level , and i always try to do so . But , and i am being very honest here , i do think about these things from time to time , and there is always a small space , in the back of my head , reserved for this issue ....
