im just pissed that its going mainstream and that not many ppl appreciate what it really gives out. I'm just enjoying it cuz i souly enjoy it. It'll always stay as long as the productions come... from "original" artists and upcoming "unique" artists.

^ yeah Gen.. trance is dying.. but i wonder how do you know so much about it since u barely listen to any trance... and it's not just you, it's many others who think trance is dying simply coz they might start liking something else or they dont listen to trance anymore..
i think the one who wrote this article, aside from the need of correcting his english a lil bit, he needs to start listening to real trance.. if he listens to ASOT, he'll know for sure how variant Trance is still capable of being.. surely some tunes would sound alike, but it's funny how for him techno 'electro 'minimal 'funky & groove isnt the same over and over again when the style by itself is so bound by few minimal instruments..
repetitveness and similarity do exist in all music styles, no1 can deny that.. but still Trance is the most free style of music and the richest in terms of construction, structure and elements.. sadly though, these days everyone is starting to think he/she is eligible to criticize and that he knows so much to start throwing assumptions here and there.. it's so sad!

^ am only hypnotized by your sweet eyes Gen!!
well you are right about psy being a part of trance silly! but u should know what i meant!! since u cant deny that many do refere to trance as everything else other than psy.. and the define psy as if it's something different.. ( i know it's not right, but that's how things are wrongfully categorized nowadays...) so eventually i've meant by you not listening to trance is that you dont listen to melodic, uplifting and the other sort of trance (barely progressive) and i didnt get this idea from my attic, many times u admit not knowing many important and hyped about tracks.. and am sure you dont join whoever wrote this paragraph about psy is dying.. do you?!
eh 1 more thing.. about the eligiblity to criticize trance, if you notice well i was talking in general! and where the fellow guy here fortunately said "IMO" others simply state their opinions as facts and that's what bothered me..
and you Gen.. try to see the big picture and stop being to Icky and yucky in ur replies!! uff shu mez3ej!

Trance is CERTAINLY not dying. Just look at the sudden interest and passion about trance in the Middle East. Everyone is talking about trance, specifically Tiesto, but HEY, ITS A START.
