Based upon Pioneer’s popular EFX-500 effects unit and with a Digital Jog Dial at its heart, the EFX-1000 establishes a new benchmark in professional effectors by uniting audio purity with a number of industry-first features. These include a new Rhythm Effect that allows DJs to process any effect alongside a pre-programmed rhythm, and some innovative Digital Jog Effects - including Vocoder, Phase Shifter and Humanizer – that can be maintained using the new Hold Switch.
The EFX-1000 also has a new Digital Link function for a simplified cable connection to Pioneer’s CDJ range of digital decks or DJM series of mixers, and a Digital In/Out terminal with 24-bit/96kHz sampling that gives DJs the option of switching the digital output sampling frequency (44.1kHz/48kHz/96kHz). The MIDI In/Out port offers connectivity to compatible musical instruments, extending the creative possibilities still further.
