quite a GRAND statement..
sad but true...

the masses throughout history seem to be acting in a way AGAINST any change and that includes Musical Evolution.... ESPECIALLY, changes that would directly challenge their "direct" ways of "thought", whether it was religious, musical, sport etc...

the POOR crowd reaction to a WORLD CLASS outkast gig for instance, and the way that OutKast changed/sold out in future productions in response to that , is a glaring example of such theory.

People DON'T CARE ON SIGNIFICANT AVERAGE WHAT YOU ARE REALLY SAYING...IT'S ALL ABOUT PERCEIVED IMAGE, at an X POINT OF TIME "AT BEST".
