Beirut Marathon 2009 Anthem

Did anyone hear the Beirut Marathon's new anthem?
It's all over the radio....
Same lyrics and main melody, but they've added some beats to it.
It sounds good for a second.. before you realize that the beat resembles another track.
Those who listen to music, and know what they're listening to would figure it out in a second.
The beat sequence is definitely taken from Andy Duguid's 'WASTED'.
Perhaps I'm wrong.
But if it were true, it would definitely be pathetic, unprofessional, and very offending to educated music listeners.

well I tried to find a link online for the new edit of the song but I couldn't find one unfortunately... however I caught it on the radio and i'm very sorry to tell you Rania and everyone that it
IS wasted, nothing similar to it but the actual beats from the actual song mashed up with the vocals of running free. how sad...

but we do have EDM producers here, maybe not like the big names out there but they'll be I'm sure of it

why don't they try something and offer it next year to how ever is organizing 2010 Marathon!
