How do you Perceive Trance ?

Sorry cube i stole your thinking hat.
I was just wondering how people Perceive EDM music in general and how do they relate to it (Not emotionally) from Average listener, Constant listener to Professional producer, does Trance music specifically get boring, predictable when you get a hold of it's production tips & tricks ? and for constant listeners that some of them show off with how many Gigabytes of trance they have,
is it really all about the music to you or you're just hiding the missing inches down in your pants ?
I fully understand the need of Djs to get a hold of every track and set out there but why do average listeners need to download and illegally every set, every release that if u put their mp3s on constant play none-stop it would go on for a whole year.
There's plenty of producers who eventually move to a more complicated EDM genre after discovering all the aspects of Trance music and say that now trance just doesn't do it for me anymore (That's their coming out statement..) and it doesn't differ much from the statement past trance listeners pull, so i'm guessing Trance music got flaws or the ease of listening to trance turned out to bite it in the ass since most of these people switch from trance to something else, i hardly see anyone switching from house to trance..yes good music is good music but black, white and gray are fully different colors and can give you a different picture even if they're all colors.
So is the problem in how people Perceive EDM and how long they can put up with a definite genre until at a certain point of time they're just "Sick of it" and start seeking something more challenging and more difficult to discover, is it the ears and music knowledge, aspects that evolves or is it the music fault for being way behind and not keeping up with the public demand ?
