Welcome to DJ.Malaria you may wonder why I called this group Dj Malaria.
Just like Malaria takes over a person's body when it hits them i want my music's originality to control the soul of whoever hears it in that sense my music is more powerful than Malaria,and I'm sure it will but in a positive way of
course.

As per the responses, I'll assume most of the type of people here are those that'll beat up 9 year old kids if they say something offensive. You're not anyone 'special' to correct them, ignore them. It'll make your life easier. A lot of you really take things seriously & personally. Just let it go.
What I might agree with you guys is that this guy really needs to choose his words wisely. Joel plays 'Live sets' ... than opposed to 'DJ sets', which will ALWAYS be different. He really shouldn't bash DJ's for playing a "DJ set" because that's what they do. DJs (Gareth Emery, Dave Seaman, Above & Beyond, etc.) have their own crowd, while Live DJ's (Ritchie Hawtin, Paul van Dyk, Gui Boratto, etc.) have theirs. They're two different fields.
This wasn't a marketing strategy. Joel's known for being completely blunt & voicing his opinion out very loud. He may have an ego that could cause a tumor in his head, but let him be. One shouldn't get so affected by something he/she can ignore if he/she believes in their own work.

Sure what he says bothers me and many others, but I wouldn't let it get to me everytime he bashes the community and its followers more.
Khalas! Just let the "new kid" do whatever he wants. It's not like he's changing our opinion any way! He's a little boy who is yelling and screaming because he thinks he's getting attention. Mind you, he's getting attention from people like you, Gen, and A-Cube. People who will instantly message him and tell him he's a fuckwit! At the point, he'll do it more and more!
The other attention that he's not really working for using his attitude, is his music. It's not THAT BAD, or maybe it's personal taste
