i can't believe this song has been out for 20 bloody years almost now, yet its still running strong as ever

Young MC (born Marvin Young on 10 May 1967 in London, England) was a rapper most known for his 1989 hit, "Bust a Move", which won the first-ever Grammy Award for Best Rap Recording.
His debut album, Stone Cold Rhymin, is generally seen as a brilliant pop rap album. It was re-issued by Rhino Records.

well this topic was dedicated to "old timers"

most of u guys replying to it, were either sucking on your mothers breasts or not even born when these tracks were out.

like it or not... EDM ... EVOLVED... from these songs.

i'm just reminicing on the memory lane... if u haven't been privilaged to experience that lane.. then be it

either way, saying that one poster "that is me" by making a handfull of post about non-edm topics in these forums.. that the forums turned to non-trance... is absurd.

first of all, i'm an EDM scene veteran since chicago house "son", and most importantly, a couple posts from an individual like me in non-edm won't undermine a "TRANCE WEBSITE".

we got more than a handfew of EDM GURUS on these forums.. at least thats what i know :wink:

and if u can't appreciate what "bust a move" did to "MUSIC" in the 80's then your an ignorant youngster, with all do respect.

i actually remember this track !!! crap ... i was in high school , during the " i am sooo coool " phase !!!

i do agree that alot of edm evolved from such tracks true ... this is what most people used to listen to , back in the day ...

i remember a couple of tracks during the late 80's early 90's , that i was totally addicted to ...

chad jackson - hear the drummer get wicked , this is soooo ahead of its time .. really ... i mean it can be remixed today easily ...
