i used to be a sucker for slow songs as well ... although my addiction during the pre-edm era was COUNTRY MUSIC !!! And i still love it , Garth Brooks is by far my favorite artist of all time , reba mcentire , clint black , Tim mcgraw , faith hill ..... !!

the soundtrack to the BodyGuard was a favorite of mine ... !!! lol ...

used to love Eternal , do you guys know who they are ??

then was addicted to the mysterious sounds of The KLF !!!

I have soo much more stuff like that , and its always a thrill to go back and listen to them :shock:

Ok since this is TRANCEhits i have to Tranceform this topic!

There are 2 true things i wanna quote from TA's topic (among others)
- 4th page, middle of it, nickname MrJiveBoJingles
"Note to all trance producers thinking of doing a pop / rap / rock remix:

Don't."

Then 1st post of the 5th page, same user:
"In the past twelve years or so mainstream trance has gradually transformed itself from techno's more melodic brother to pop music's retarded stepchild, complete with cheesy vocals and all, and frankly I don't see why that's a good thing."
That's a little bit exaggerated but he's got a point here! I dunno what idiot (or idiots) from the scene came up with the idea of remixing commercial shit but "thanks to him" (or them) Trance is going slowly but certainly backwards :evil:

i'm totally against this trend of remixing pop/rock songs. EDM stays in EDM world and commercial in commercial world. That's it!
