Easiest ladder to fame?

Here's something that just occurred to me a minute ago. What do you think is the easy ladder to fame in the EDM business?

Let's see some good opinions around here!

My opinion: Remixing a track by Armin van Buuren! Instant support if the track is good on ASOT. In no time, every single radio show will be supporting it, if not, then it will be hammered for almost a year by Armin himself.

I wanna know your opinions and NOT your arguments to my opinion!
Please! Let's for once stick to the topic!

hmmm there is a lot of ways to get famous...my opinion get the constant support of a renowned DJ who will play your tracks extensively on radio shows or live gigs or make you his exclusive warm-up DJ(thats how Jimmy Van M got his reputation and is now in my opinion one of the best electronic music talents...by being Sasha and Digweed's sidekick for quite a while)...

again thats just a way...many started solo by having their own radio shows or promoted their own gigs...

Getting a track supported by a bunch of international dj's, and them playing it excessively, or having a vinyl release for the track with a bunch of remixes by great djs!

Producing tracks that famous DJs will like/love, play them in their radio shows for some time, at their gigs. But that's not enough, he has to play at events where he's the main DJ, the warm-up DJ or part of a line-up like at Sensation or Trance Energy.

^ You might be referring to MixFm as the organizer of events and promoter of Dream of Peace. That's in Lebanon. But outside i think it's mostly agencies like Essence Music in Poland and nightclubs themselves that organize events. Radio stations are only sponsors. Click and look at the flyer's bottom right (Radio Eska is only a sponsor among others). As for the TV channels then it works only for tracks that have video clips i guess like pop and r'n'b on mtv. VIVA used to play clips of PvD, still plays ATB, Tiesto for sure. But Trance tracks by Menno, Sean Tyas, Airbase, Relocate, Orkidea and others don't have video clips. A TV channel can do advertising if it is a sponsor of the event but only a couple of weeks before. The best way nowadays for promotion are radio shows played weekly (ASOT, Trance Around The World best examples).

I didn't specifically mean MixFm. I know that the dj's r full talented & i respect that; but in a way or another it helps in them becoming famous. After all, that's nt a bad idea...i wish i had time & a radio station supporting me
ya this is usually in Lebanon where we don't have much productions apart from radio stations.
outside, u get famous when a radio show like ASOT plays ur tune...but dnt 4get that ur track must be very good 2 b played there
so the person who gets famous really deserves it

my advice would be: produce good music you like, and dont produce music for any playlist or dont try to sound the same as other hits, might get u some minor instant succes but in the end original productions stand out.
