Jean Michel Jarre, born back in 1948 in Lyon as the son of a film score composer and a resistance fighter, has proven himself time and time again as an innovator, both sound and performance wise. Among his list of accolades are numerous spectacular shows, once involving a light show in la Defense, Paris, which was viewed by a record breaking 2.5 million people in attendance.

The new disc comes as a sequel to Metamorphosis (one of his BEST porductions), which dates back to 2000, and was more of a vocal album, after his Oxygene 7-13 and Oxygene album in 1978 garnered him his reputation as one of the leading figures in the realm of synthesis. On his latest album, Jarre, now 58 returns to his instrumental roots, brimming with polyphony, and symphonic arrangements.[/align]

[align=justify]A must-have album. Jean Michel Jarre, the MASTER of Electronic music in my opinion got us used to his unbeatable decent taste. The guy has been in the field of Electronic music since ages; he's an expert! He is known to be the King of Electronic music par excellence! He knows how and what to deliver to his audience and is always up to their expectations. Jarre got the listeners respect long time ago and now with his new release, he revived the dormant feelings his listeners have for him. I know lot of people who love Jarre's productions and I fully understand the reason why!

JMJ is indeed the king of Electronic Music par excellence many DJs of today were influenced by him in their young days, many found/find inspiration in him.
Since i don't remember listening to something of him earlier, i consider that the first time i have ever heard him was in August 2005. There was the 25th Anniversary of the Solidarity Labor Union. I was watching on tv the 3 hours concert he gave to 100 000 Polish fans at the shipyard of Gdansk. This location was chosen because this is where the Solidarity members began their protests against the Soviets in August 1980. He supports Poland a lot.
The music he played was B-R-I-L-L-I-A-N-T!!

after getting hooked to this masterpiece i gotta say that since the latest Engima album, this is THE BEST electronic release to have laid my hands on.. JMJ proved once more that he's a true master!! the quality of production and the clearness of his sound is really unmatchable!! what's amazing is his use of so many instruments and elements that can be found in numerous productions of all EDM styles from house to psy and all in between.
