What If and Blue Tubes (Intro mix) are my two favourites of his. The starting bass dropping right from beginning on "What If" is haunting--draws you into the song and keeps you there. The chill out part around 2:55min part with angelic background voices are tear jerkers, and the breakdown around 4:30s really is beautiful.
Why did u lump all those songs together out of curiosity?

I cant make 15 poll options ... so i clumped the 'single' releases together in 1 and the 'ep' releases together. Then two of the remixes that are pretty known.

I'd go for "What If" ... i love it, but its either that or his remix of "Endorphine". "Blue Tubes" is also on the picky list ... it reminds me of Mark Otten's "Tranquility".

Yet another valuable topic, which is why I just can't go for Burn Proof, the title is too harsh for me to bare!

His remix of Endorphine would take my vote. I love most of his productions, except for the vocals (not the instrumentality) of Blue On Blue and his remix of Alive, but that remix set new standards for the use of breaks in Progressive Trance, at least in my book. Besides, ain't it one of the sweetest melodies written this year? Even though he didn't produce it himself, but still...

KUDOS to one of the most promising rising stars of the Trance scene in general and the ProgTrance scene in particular!

Proofy, you could still use the extra poll space to add some of the remixes you posted about... and is that Zone 2 remix out yet by the way?

Definitely Endorphine ! Why?
Because, when I listen to Hydroid's remix , I feel that Trance Music is indeed well united , as in it is quite noticeable that the beautiful/gorgeous breakdown in Endorphine is mainly the most embillishing element in the remix , which can be very close to the breakdown found in the uplifting version ... Hence , the image of union in Trance Music suddenly shows up , where you can see both the progressive and uplifting sounds emotionaly combined ... and extremely sweet !

Now If I had choose between his other productions , I'd go for Shattered Skies , and it's all because of that fantastic Proggy Energizing Style !

I had to choose only two of Hydroid's productions , yet every single hit can be distinguished by it's terrific typical sound , and not meant by typical as in "never changes" , but in the way which Hydroid's offering us perfect tunes , and frequently high qualified !

SO looking forward for more of Itay's Work !

my fav work of Hydroid is Ferry Corsten - Star Traveller (Hydroid Remix) which isn't in the Remixes list.. You should add it it is a KILLER one

Hmmm ... I really didn't like your point Q. I would never judge the artist's background inorder to create music. Of course in the back of everyone's minds ... politics is ruining our friendship, but that doesn't apply to the real people itself.

Anyway ... just my p.o.v.. "Incurved" is wicked too ^_^

like i said , i know many people wont like this , but thats the way i think , maybe its the age difference , or maybe its because i live in the middle east . Call it whatever you want .

I know music and politics dont mix well , and i know this is not the topic here , but its hard for me to see my people being slaughtered and pretend that nothing is happening , and listen to good music instead

^ it's understood Q, Music touches emotions and if something else is affecting your emotions it's normal to have them affecting your musical tastes though from what you've said it seems you're somehow still able to judge music regardless of its origin.. that's great!
