What about his productions? Back from his debut Theme From Norejfeld up til Adagio, with a few disappointments of course since no producer can ever satisfy everyone with all his tracks... But overall his productions are indeed good, I personally don't see him as the best producer as there are many others that can easily be compared to him, but still he's not at all a low-quality producer or a Benassi-like commercial tycoon, even if his music is so wide spread now...

anything is acceptable EXCEPT comparing PvD to others. This guy is way ahead and others will need quite a BIG amount of time to catch up!

In your opinion maybe, and that is very valid (subjectively speaking), but for a large number of Trancers, the post-2000 PvD is not the pre-2000 PvD who back then was a synonym to God for us... A simple example example can be seen right here on TH where a bigger number of trancers enjoyed Above & Beyond and Mark Norman more than they enjoyed Paul van Dyk!

^ya...but i heard PvD has gone back to his previous performances with melodic/uplifting sets, and i've read it in several forums, and his new pod 2 says it all.

On the other hand, I dont care anymore about tiesto,pvd, and armin. The new upcoming artists are great, they havetheir own new and unique sounds.

^ true, people like me and Amadeus who witnessed PvD in Cyprus recently know what we're talking about: pure melodic and uplifting sets. not the same type he played in Lebanon last year but it was a hell of a set in nicosia. PvD isn't back... he's simply still here and he will always play and produce the way he always used to.
