Well.... I have made many TECHNO cds around 1998 when NAPSTER was in business HAHAAA!!! "Matrix (techno mix)" hahahaha That was the shit!! NOT!! N e way... my first approach to Trance, which I highly respect was this 2002 CD, BLANK & JONESSSSS!!! DESIREEE!

^ actually it's a great track.. and not cheesy at all.. not when the track was actually produced in 2000!! back then this sound was the new sound of trance!!

Blank & Jones were at the top ranks of my favorite artists list back in the days, I licked my fingers after each and every single and album they released!

Yea, Blank and Jones did have a blast in the late 90's/early 00's especially
with 'Substance' (the album).. Can't remember specific tunes now and it's
rather impossible to dig up their CD right now.

Mahadeva was the one track that introduced me to Goa (a couple of years late though), in parallel with Ferry's remix of Adagio introducing me to Trance. JOOF's remix remains among my all-time favorites though!

^ It sure is among his own favorites as well. It always comes up in
interviews and discussions about J00F and his productions.

Up till today, Faithless - God is a DJ (Astral Projection Remix) is an all-time
favorite of his. You should see him in the booth when he plays it - goes
mental!

Ahhhh.. can't wait till October. I must try and see him then.

^My memory seems to betray me, but I do think that this was the very first mixed compilation I layed my ears on as well, and it was way to stubborn to leave my discman for over a year!

And on a side note, I wish to personally thank you A-Cube for the generous contributions you are pouring into this topic (and the forum as a whole as well)... they are much appreciated. Keep it up!
