So it's about time we stop our discussions about who should be ranked where already, no?

Anyways..
IMO, Armin is staying right up there for at least a year or two more!
And Guetta is gonna go up to 2nd. I hope he doesn't make it to #1 tho...

Yet, for those who know their music, the poll changes nothing. Just gives an idea bout the majority of tastes of people around the world!

I don't really view the list as a potential and legit source for DJs around the world, but just as Miss Tranced posted, it IS a popularity contest. It IS good to see some new names appearing every year though. However, at the end of the day, we will all - ever year - say how our fave DJs will remain our own fave DJs and not the magazine's.

I think people should start voting genuinly and not as favors or support. And if your DJ does not make it to the spot you want him/her/they to be, then so be it. It won't change the fact that your personal favourtie is an awesome DJ. Their work will not change unless they are somehow affected by an external source other than the poll.

Here's what I think about the list in general though: It lacks rules. There are no specifics that would narrow down the kind of DJ to be voted for on that list. It's just an open vote. You like the DJ at your local bar, then vote. lol. You guys remember the whole DJ Dan jump? El numero 5 and people didn't see it coming.
