I think Neo-Trance is the example of boundaries being crossed by both , house djs and trance djs.

House Djs want to include more melodies in their sets / sounds , and Trance Djs want to include more House-ish sounds / beats in their sets . so the result is this type of music . REGARDLESS OF THE NAME .

Now , Regarding the name , i think if you produce a track , you are entitled to call it whatever you want. Ya3ni , i can make a track , which has some disco sounds in it , so i decide to call it discorockingtrance ..!! but in the end , it really doesnt matter ...

Solee , Pinkbox Special , Bart Van Wissen , Alt Fenster , Shades of Grey , Pawas , Sennh , Piatto , A cluster of Blue ....

Interesting arguments! So the subgenre doesn't exist, but could eventually exist. I'm not at all interested in categorization, especially with the wide spectrum of EDM that I've been listening/playing lately, but I thought it would be interesting to investigate this new issue.
