Biggest Disappointment in 2007

If tech won't die in 2008, it will in 2009 but i give it maximum to 2010 just in case :lol:

Too monotone, too boring, too heavy for Trance music. 95% of tech tracks are emotion-less...
Diabolix, progressive and uplifting are the real tranzy feeling

stick to these sub-genres and you'll never dislike it

i'm sure that there are a few more DJs that make you like it!

I dont think the whole Tech Trance part is disappointing, its just that the sub-genre let its standards slip. After SVD's Control Freak, I kind of expected it to be Huge
But then everyone started producing Tech-Trance, and most of these weren't even half-decent.I think that's why the whole sub-genre got disappointing.

well , in the end , its a matter of personal taste i am sure ...

But to me , its the diversity that counts ! In a set , i cant keep listening to the same style of music over and over again , the perfect set for me would start with pure house music , and end with energy filled uplifting trance, and in bettween , the possibilities are endless !!! electro, progressive , tech , you name it ... !!!

this way , you will keep the people on their feet all the time , and the element of surprise will always shock the listener ...

so as a producer , one should also experiment with new sounds , to keep it interesting ... but producing the same style over and over again is not acceptable anymore , and people would quickly get bored with it ... !!

thats why you take the good out of each genre , house , trance , electro , tech , prog , minimal , NEO TRANCE ( DEDICATED TO CROW .. LOL ) . break beat and so on ... and you will live happily every after !!
