Trance in Lebanon

With not taking precisely the amount of members registering to TranceHits or any other Trance forum nowadays , it’s probably noticeable that we have over 50 to 60 active members on board . But , can this be considered enough for the general Electronic Music Scene In Lebanon ? I Do Not Think So …

We , members login to check TH , view everything , to be updated , to learn from others , are the well-educated crowd in the country , and we know exactly what our minds demand . People out there are eagerly waiting for Fridays and Saturdays , since Day one which can be considered the most hatred , Monday of course . They are always asking for a music which is able to satisfy their bodies demands , therefore to throw all the energy hidden inside , and never thought of what their Ears want to listen to , always looking forward to hearing the same repetitive beats/sounds ( No Offence to Any Genre Of Music , Whether anyone was thinking of it) , and everything that would bring them self-satisfaction , precisely "body’s"-satisfaction , which is obviously good after a whole tiring week packed with work stuff and so …
So on , people tend to forget exactly what to listen to , and try to get themselves occupied with other stuff , which is totally wrong .

House Music Is Good , Techno Music Is Nice …. But wouldn’t diversity in music be great ? Clubs Owners are watching only a specific type of ravers , yet they forget about others , and so I’m pretty sure that they know very well that there’s something missing , however unfortunately money wise seems to be the winner with them …
Trance Music lunatics for instance , where are they ? Why is it too easy for us to recognize a Trance listener ? Is it because he listens just for the sake of listening , or is there something more mysterious hiding behind his heared Music ? …
So yes , very few are being informed lately , and the rest are still ignoring in addition to people who are unfamiliar with Trance Music , or whether they consider it as one of the most appealing music to start enjoying forbidden stuffs…

I have never thought that it’s the clubbers mistake at all (not everyone is able to access online forums for instance) , but owners are the persons to blame , and so they have the role of informing them , introducing them to something new …

Who are They ? They are the none-musically educated clubbers .
"They" are the perons who are always able to be introduced to another music genre , to a stuff more different , Something which is able to turn them to a musically educated people , and most importantly , to break the routine ! Which can be simply called by TRANCE ! It all depends on your decision , owners !

However that doesn’t mean clubs owners should leave & avoid the rest genres of electronic music and begin on playing trance tunes , it’s all about the full diversity people , Diversity equals Knowledge and Music Education …


Trance In Lebanon ? Hopefully we'll be expecting a YES very soon , it all relies on you Owners !

I don't think it's the clubs owners fault that they don't play Trance in clubs.
I think that the Lebanese community doesn't have experience with Trance.
Lebanese ppl still don't know about Trance, and events won't introduce them to it. As everyone said, the only way that they will get introduced to Trance in particular is that

i totally agree with DIO
come on man at least 50% of the crowd don't know the difference between trance and house and other genres of EDM
i also find that house is kinda easier 2 understand for those who dnt listen 2 EDM
but you can't ignore that EDM is just starting to invade lebanon and i guess with time(after this summer maybe) we'll it'll spread evrywhere and we'll start having a more educated crowd
finally i'd like 2 wish luck for all lebanese djs cz they deserve it , keep it guys and do ur best
as for clubs i think a good one is enough since there are events almost every week

Well dio cheers great topic but those questions r left unanswered in my mind as well.. i meannn even if a club owner wants the cash atleast Openmindness a bit like Dio said .. i mean its not a big risk to specify certain nights for trance and others for house as an introduction to the clubbbers or even play trance for a while at the begining or end of a set .. this will help clubbers absorb little by little .... this wud also add and help a club owner for more cash when the club reputation spreads on forums and among clubbers by being the first club in lebanon dedicated to house and trance equally... and dont tell me ppl r not used to trance yet because trance is being played on radio and cds of trance releases r everywhere .. wat we shud work on is PSY ...
