What if The Egg - Walking Away (Tocadisco remix) never became the electro anthem for 2006?

I honestly think that this track opened the eyes of the public on a new genre and everyone loved it...which eventually led to a huge decadence in this genre because everyone tried to copy it...the wrong way...

What if Sander Van Doorn never remixed Control Freak?

There would be nothing called tech-trance and other productions that would follow would have been labeled as Hard Trance (i.e. Marcel Woods - Advanced)

What if Basement was just another club?

What if Tiesto never came in 2005?

The trance scene wouldn't have been so popular here (yes I am dead serious)

What if Fady Ferraye never ended up being a resident at B018?

Fady brought a class to the place...and I really doubt anyone else could have done better...

That would call for a real celebration all across the country.

What if ASOT never existed?
Trance wouldn't have expanded as much as it did.

What if some lebanese so called organizers had to carry a degree in promoting and marketing before assigning themselves as organizers?

Lebanese Trance scene would easily be competing events being held in EU.

What if Tiesto gave credit to the original author of Adagio For Strings?
I would've respected him.

What if illegal downloads were really illegal?
Trance producers would appear on MTV crib spinning on blingbling made decks.

What if production software and DJ gear got even cheaper and more accessible?

Well, that would signal the beginning of the end for trance. I believe we have
far more than enough DJs at the moment in every genre of EDM, mainly
trance

(Except prog, there can never be too many prog DJs :mrgreen:)



What if John 00 Fleming never had lung cancer back in 1990?

For one, he wouldn't have stopped DJing for over 3 years at the peak of
his career for the sake of chemotherapy and rehab afterwards. However,
this break from DJing, brought him back even stronger and more passionate
about music than he ever was. So I guess it wasn't all of a purely bad
experience.
If your trance was a pretty blonde ballerina; then what I listen to is a peed-off bulky bouncer pounding the living shit out of your ballerina.
