In a move that's taken the dance music industry by complete surprise, Ministry Of Sound have bought the Hed Kandi brand from Guardian Media Group

Popbitch had been whispering that something was afoot at Ministry Of Sound… and this afternoon we found out what, as Ministry announced their acquisition of the Hed Kandi brand from Guardian Media Group.

The deal sees Ministry take control of all labels under the Enterprise Records division of Smooth FM (formerly Jazz FM), which includes One Two Records as well as the massively successful Hed Kandi brand. It also further enhances Ministry's much vaunted status as the largest independent record company in the UK.

yep, Hed Kendi is one of the best house label, they also have chillout and other music types releases now... and they are recognized by the cool package for the albums and they use illustrations, the type of shy-ism's avatar...
