Back in 2001, when I released my first production On The Move, it was Riva who took their first ever remix job, reworking the tune for the UK Positiva release.
Seven years later, I decided to put my hands on théir first 2001 release Stringer, to try and update it to today's sound, without losing too much of the original feeling. You can checkout the result in the player on
Stringer has always been of my favourite trance tunes (was it trance anyway?) of all time, so I mainly remixed it just for my own joy of playing it out in my sets. How selfish is that?!
Used a hint of the original vocals by Dannii Minogue, and took the bassline to reconstruct it into tech territory.Already heavily supported by the few dj's that have received an early copy: Tiësto, Ferry Corsten, Above & Beyond (Record Of The Week in Trance Around The World), Armin van Buuren (twice in A State Of Trance), and Sander van Doorn.
