i would rather have a lot of music being released even if most it is crap rather than being limited to a certain number of releases , the more the better i say , gives real djs a chance to be more diverse and unique in their sets

^ Don't think being diverse and unique can really stand alone. EDM is MASSIVE, constantly evolving, expanding, there's a massive rush of productions, tracks, etc... But you need fresh competition (from all aspects) to keep you on your toes, innovate, and not get complacent!

I think, that a genre at it's peak renders its popularity on merit - because it sounds good - right, there might be tons of crappy tracks - but there are always more gems!

actually my point is when u have more tracks released there is a higher percentage u will find quality tracks , ill break it down to you like this:

1000 tracks released per week lets say 10% are good, unique, quality ...etc , that is equal to 100 tracks

100 tracks released per week lets also say 10 % are good...etc
and that is equal to 10 good tracks

personally i will choose from those ten percent , and option #1 is obviously better , sorry had to go into math but hey its healthy to debate right?
