1st hour: total shit. Yep, that's how such music should be called in a show entitled A State Of TRANCE. I'm specially pointing my finger at Junkie XL's definition of ugliness. Maybe Armin played it by mistake! Because of this track and a few others, i started having images of lebanese nightclubs/pubs playing the "commercial shit" (nickname i gave to this kind of music) passing in my mind. I also had images of "commercialized clubbers" "enjoying" the real Trance at big gigs, and leaving clubs/pubs when the real Trance is played. I hate hypocrisy.
Didn't like Half Light btw, Sierra Nevada is better.

3rd half hour: better, starting from 10. Joshua Cunningham - Simplicity. But i stopped paying attention, my ears were just catching the nice melodies while i was doing something else... congratz to Aly & Fila's newest track.

last half hour: until the #19 it was better. Highlights to Deep Psychosis (Daniel Kandi's Cure Mix), Fallout (Ian Betts Remix), Nyctalopia (Club Mix). But i prefer Onova's remix of Nyctalopia. Memories of Love is nice too. Paul Miller is another Polish DJ who made it to ASOT :D his real name is Pawel Meller.

Finally, my biggest highlight of this show is the Classic. One of the best tracks ever by, in my opinion, the best Trance musician ever! System F aka Ferry Corsten - Out Of The Blue! This track alone temporarily brought a big smile on my face :)

Conclusion: very decent episode. The 2nd hour made it up for the 1st nightmarish hour.

^ Yea Toca's Miracle is quite ok, but 1 track can't make it up for 9 tracks :| as for the mood, yep you're right! I didn't even want to write a review, but after i wrote the first couple of sentences, the rest started coming alone.

I don't know, I haven't heard or don't remember the Breakfast remix of Buzz, but surely anything by Above and Beyond/Anjunabeats can't be THAT bad, right? Right?
