A special episode it had to be, and indeed it was! Armin kicked it off by announcing the biggest news of the moment in the Trance Nation! He thanked everyone, from fans to promoters to organizers. And then the episode could begin. And wow what a great way to start a show with this title with such a great track! The intro was indeed very nice to listen to!
The Future Favorite is a bright kid, Breakfast, delivering a cool track. And the Tune Of The Week is a new production by Galen Behr and Hydroid. One hell of a track!! A lot of dreamy rhythm and energy in it! Armin kept unleashing more melodies after that with "I Love Trance" and "Catch a Fall". Before the end of the 1st hour, he told us the surprise of this week's episode!
We had the chance to listen to Armin's set played in Amsterdam last week! The set started again very nicely but then had a techy period with Deadmau5's remix and production. And after that the uplifting energy was back! The Trancers had 5 tracks of magic sounds in a row! It all started with Peter's "Not The End" which is present on ASOT for a few weeks now! Then the massive Norwegian "Kalopsia" took the Trancers on a dreamy journey before they got devastated by the perfect dancefloor killer "Beauty Hides In The Deep (John O'Callaghan Remix)". Indeed! This remix by the Irish producer gives to the original track much much more rhythm and energy! Eargasm anyone?
Afterwards... again... Onova's superb production "Platitude" was back on ASOT and kept the ravers on a dreamy journey! Finally, the famous "The Sound of Goodbye" was back with Nic Chagall's touch! WHAT AN EPISODE OH MY GOD WHAT AN EPISODE IT WAS!!! MASSIVE!!!
CONGRATULATIONS TO ARMIN!!! He deserves standing ovations like in football stadiums for this excellent episode and for the amazing career!!
