Landmark marks the return of one of proggpsy's most legendary acts and one of my top favorite proggpsy acts on Digital Structure Records: Sweden's Vibrasphere.
Their sound has undeniably helped influence a generation of progressive lovers helping shape a scene with a sound that is both classic and powerfully unique.
With Robert's recent return to the group (Vibrasphere are Rickard Berglof and Robert Elste) after a short break, Landmark is a return to the source for Vibrasphere, drawing on influences and themes they explored in their earlier releases, but at the same time coupling it with a fantastic updated sound.
Their new album Archipelago on Digital Structures will no doubt be one of the progressive releases of the year and this new EP is being simply a taster of what is to come. Featuring 4 new tracks, this is intelligent, driving and emotional progressive music at its best that I fell in love with from minute one. Loved every split second of this EP equality.

1. Landmark: The album's title and a super masterpiece at 142 bpm. Mind-blowing breakdown and a relentless addictive bassline that will inevitably knock your head off your shoulders. It's proggy, it's driving, it's twisted: it's Vibrasphere at what they do best!
2. Reservoir (Antix Remix): A house remix from one of the men of the hour along with D-nox, Beckers, Andre Absolut, and Freq. Stunning sexy prog house gem that will not fail to impress music lovers of any taste.
3. Manzanilla (2005 Mix): The masterpiece itself! The sole reason to get this album at any expensive for this tune will pay off every penny you spent for this EP. Superb angelic out-of-this world piece of progg that will never fail to drop jaws flat dead on the floor. Excellency and precisition in the black art of sound, music NEVER gets any better than in this tune.
4. Emotional Fugitive: A trippy ambient trance tune to finish off the EP in perfect shape. Lovely dreamy ambient with an exquisite dash of beats!
