Well looky here what a little birdie got me a little while ago! After hanging with my main man Tijs, my best bud Paul, and my #1 fan Ferry, they all seemed to have talked a bit about a special new album of some sort. I had decided to check it out ASAP, since I can't get behind you know! So I rung my bro Armin and let him set up a meet with this Belgian guy right here... M.I.K.E. then gave me a phone number of this dude, and after some begging, lots of harassing, and hours of late night stalking, Laurent Veronnez finally gave in!
My all-time favorite producer Airwave brings us a great new artist album! Just when I thought his 2004 double-CD album "I Still Believe" was the single greatest Trance album of all time, I may now safely announce that Trilogique surpassed it. The CDs are all sequenced, each representing a style of Laurent: the first being trancy, the second being more proggy, and the third being more in the chilly direction. Also on Disc1 we get an extra bonus quarter-hourish long booty of two of his earlier hits - 'When Things Go Wrong' and 'Sunspot', the latter a collaboration with Rising Star (a.k.a. Armin van Buuren)... harmonic mashup at its very vest! Definitely an album to grab, even if you dont like Airwave's normal stuff (making you the trancer with the worst taste in the world).
