Crossing the world to Japan where Tri-Force presents his latest
album: Entrance to Reality.
Tri-Force is the project by Sha-A, aims to combine various musical
elements such as Traditional Japanese Music (that I deeply love and
admire), Minimal Techno, and Ambient Music through a filter
of his own. A magnificent view of Trance, its world, and stylish beautiful
sound that Tri-Force created to express 'a feeling of Trance' rather than 'a
state'.
Sha-A started DJing at chill out spaces mainly when he studied 'relation of
sound and vital reaction' at university. In 2003 he joined Za. Uzumaki
Kyoudai that was the favored band at parties. He played bamboo flute
as the third son of the band, and expressed Wabi-Sabi feelings of
traditional Japanese music on the unique and mysterious rhythmic world
by eldest son Zombo and second son Ubartmar. He met
Nata when he played for Za. Uzumaki Kyoudai and formed the unit
NatarSha.
With playing live for NatarSha he started composing Trance music.
Featured in this album is a remix of a song by genius pianist George
Winston: Longing-Love. Tri-Force also has a side project called
Ocot with more of a house music orientation. Joining on the
worldwidely reputed compilation After 10 Years of Japanese Trance
with his track Interstellar Harmonics, Tri-Force delivering a dynamic
and progressive sound that fits perfectly as an opening of the compilation
and gives brilliant impressions on it. Tri-Force also joins to the compilation
Zen by Russian Deja vu Records with the track Day
Dreaming.
The album is of a very controversial sound as already mentioned. Many
tunes literally stormed me such as the stunning Dream Circulation,
Layrd Oscillation, and Spectral Breeze while others remain
good but just not up to my expectations.
Over all, a very good album that definitely is worth a listen.
