It's been a few days since I got Astral Projection's compilation: Back to Galaxy and got hypnotized by the sweet mindblowing intro: Open Society. One of Astral Projection's unreleased gems made its way into my ears leaving nothing but an addictive driving bassline and hooking keyboards. After 3 days of searching: I got it! I laid my hands on one of the finest psytrance releases of psytrance for this year (or I'd rather say next since it'll be the released in January in their upcoming album: Open Society)
The tune kicks off with galactic effects and a speech encouraging adapting an open society despite the 9/11 events. The tune then bangs on with a 148 bpm and few claps to introduce a bit of rising liquidish keys and builds up to one of the most memorable rising melodies at the 2nd minute of the tune, to drive away with wicked beats and increasing layers and samples identifing the tune as nothing but a Lior and Igor tune! The tune then cools down at 3:15 to uplift again with non-stop beats and reintroduces the FX and scary wind blowing along the background of your heads. The FX are then taken away leaving some seconds for plain head banging basslines and wind howling that never fails to deliver a scary tingle down the spine that shouts at every single of your head at the followinf breakdowns: bass cut dead, wicked keys, and terrifyingly sweet wind howling. The vocals are then repeated to accompany rising 4/4 beats and teasing twist then bangs all the way to the end with nothing but increasing wicked samples added to this layerstic gem.
Must all try getting it, Astral Projection never disappoint! Hope the sample would give a teaser of what those two have composed.
