German-based Element returns with another mind-blowing album after a
3 years abscence from the progressive trance scene in 2002 after
releasing ''Full Moon''. Element have become one of the biggest
trance-bands after they've played in big international festivals such as
Arcadia, Mt. Fuji (Japan), Samothraki Festival (Greece) as well as the
legendary Zoom Festival in Switzerland with 20,000 people that turned up
for one of the most successful and crowded psytrance festivals in Europe
and the world.
The release at Avalanche Records consists of 10 massive tunes at the 136
- 142 bpm range, catchy melodies in most of the tunes, with some being
underneath my expectations like 'White', 'Alteration', 'Real World'
'Flowers', and 'From the Rain'. That however did not lessen from the
beauty of the rest of the album. 'Pad Song' is very good for a start but
the fastest tune of the album 'Caveman' , 'Drop', 'Full Flavour', and the
massive hard-edged 'Go This Way' made up for the difference and yet
more! Simply loved 'Go This Way'! Good stuff from the German band and
highly recommended for progressive trance fans. Excellent!
