Japanese vocalist Ayumi Hamasaki has been remixed by just about every big Trance producer ever. Here are 4 fresh remixes from 3 big producers: Airwave offering two mixes, one with and one without the vocals, the first in the typical Airwave sound that one can never grow tired of - the genuine "old school" Progressive Trance, and the second in a more houseish interpretation that didn't quite appeal to me; if only he would "dub" his trancy remix and get rid of Ayu's annoying voice! ALT+F4 returns with a remix as well, opting to keep the vocals (unfortunately), and delivering a pretty good remix as well, not with the ALT+F4 bassline though, and not as good as Airwave's if you ask me (then again, Airwave being my favorite Trance producer of all time, a certain amount of bias may be entailed to my judgement). Moogwai also makes a come-back, resurrecting the same tweaking space-ship effect that can be heard in his classic Viola, and orchestrating a breakdown to die for, in an instrument that is not quite a piano, not quite a guitar, but something in between. A rather simplistic remix, though not at all repulsive, on the contrary it is a very interesting piece of electronic music that goes outside the box of your average Trance... but that still doesn't come close to Airwave's artwork!

Ayu has to be the most pop singer to get support and remixes by trance producers..

Isn't this just a re-release with an additional remix? The Airwave remix dates from 2001 if I remember correctly...

I still try to stay up to date and stuff. And I never know what to say but anything related to Belgian producers gets my extra attention though
