Markus Schulz has gotten us used to bringing us the very best of Progressive Trance through his previous Coldharbour Selections, and this volume is no different. All three selections are simply sublime, and rightfully demonstrate just why Progressive Trance is the supreme master of all sub-genres (in your faces uplifting lovers!). Daylight is a guitarish (we're hearing a lot of those these days) progger with a full-on beat and a Synergy-like bassline from Funabashi who, wierdly enough, is a collaboration between Kevin Sieja & Tom Porcell - two Hard Trance gurus! Blue Circles is the second single from rising talent Niklas Harding after Buttefly Effect, this time under his Arcane alias which obviously is a synonym to quality for he managed to deliver one beautiful dreamy atmospheric tune that will instantly draw a smile on any listener's face with its oh-so-sweet melody. Last up is a newcomer on the prog scene called Alex Monakhov (mother russia?), who did nothing short of impressing with his debut single Sunset Breeze characterized by a very original beat and some nasty basslines, not to forget the melody that easily matches them. Once more, Schulzy delivers the cream of today's ProgTrance just as he constantly does in his show and sets; truly one who merits to be among the top 10 DJs.
