Ralphie B and Sander Van Dien - First State

The "Turkish Bizarre" 2005 is HERE!!
Armin played the B-Side of this baby as (Tune of the week) on ASOT 215 and also on ASOT 216 (till now).. but Tiesto graced us with it when he played in at Forum de Beyrouth (that's why i think this guy is massive! whatever u think of him.. he surely drops the hottest tracks and no1 can deny that!..)
This production marks the comeback of one of the pioneers of trance "Ralphie B" with "Sander Van Dien" to deliver us one hell of a wicked track... talk about SCARY productions?! this ones beats the record this year so far.. still remember when we almost had a heartattack me and DIO when listening to it at Tiesto's Gig.. couldnt go check on Bxtreme nor TRANCExual whom am sure werent in any better condition than us..
the track starts off heavy on the beats.. fast on the bassline (almost 140 BPM) and instruments start flowing in with a dreamy synths playing a catchy melody till we reach an early breakdown at around minute 2 to have only this dreamy synth in the background then the scary beat kicks back.. sounds like a progressive beauty till things start going rougher and the structure tends to feel a bit techy with a few techy elements while adding a sweet melodic synth in the background making this track a fiesta in music styles.. for another breakdown at almost minute 4 (and you can call this the end of track 1)..
now the sweet synth are shifted from the background to be played alone.. then A HUGE PHAT BASS BLOWS IN YOUR FACE!! the track suddenly turns all techy!! faster bassline harder beats and we got a totally different track in this section. SCARY isnt enough yet..
then we get the sweet synth introduced again over the techy bassline marking the start of the third mini track.. now we've totally lost all definition of trance and EDM.. pure originality and innovation is at hand.. and a THIRD breakdown at 6:44 turning this track back to the uplifting side!! .. the beats kicks back in and the dreamy synth goes progressively over the sweet one for a beautiful fade out..
DEFINITELY THE MOST INNOVATIVE PIECE OF ART I'VE HEARD IN A LOOOOOONG TIME!! reminds me of the oldskool epic trancers back in the 90s where a single track can be divided into multiple smaller ones..
talk about lack of innovation? Trance is dying?! "Ralphie B" got the answer for you.. UP IN YER FACE!!
the B-Side contains another HUGE track (the one featured by Armin) and it's a very fine progresser that's only mistake is being the B-Side of "First State".. gotta love the fast synths and high edged bassline.. very catchy melody and a very sweet dreamy synth that's so much resembling to the one used in the first track..
all in all a release that can be graded as 20/10!!!!
i careless how many crimes you're gonna have to commit in order to get this.. BUT YOU NEED TO DO IT!!
