Our very own Kuffdam & Plant's beauty will finally see a release on vinyl after more than a year of being played out, just as Kuffdam himself informed us earlier! And with Andy & Adam on the remix duties (as White Room of course) you know you can't go wrong! The defining characteristic of the original was the unmatched sweetness of the melody (add to that the whispering angel), yet the UK A boys managed to make it even sweeter while preserving the whispers! They also placed the breakdown emphasis on those twinkling keys you could hear in the background which I always loved in the original. A slight disappointment, however, is when the beat is dropped back after the breakdown, a melody-less beat. But as I said, it's only a slight disappointment, as soon after a second mini-breakdown is introduced in which the actual melody is this time played using the twinkling instrument! Very creative remix! An extra Stoneface & Terminal remix is also found on the same vinyl, one that is more hard-edged, tempoed-up, and rendered more dancefloor-approved. Good stuff as well, adding variety to the vinyl and resulting in truly something for everyone in this release, and something this reviewer recommends for your record bag!
