Rank 1 - Opus 17 / Top Gear

Two fresh tunes by dutch producers Piet and Benno.

Opus 17 is an uplifting anthem backed up by a lovely classical melody. Starts off nice and slow until the beat kicks in later, followed by a lovely breaked down which reminds us of the older rank 1 productions and older trance classics in general. The tune ends calmly with the beats being replaced with a minute of relaxing piano notes. Although it lacks a powerful bassline and a nice drive to make it dancefloor compatible, its still a great tune to listen to none the less. I'd like to see someone take this one and make it a dancefloor anthem.

The other side of this promo features Top Gear, which is a techy dancefloor tune that has a lot in common with "Beats at Rank 1." Not my piece of pie, but i think people who enjoy tech trance tracks like Tiesto's Flight 643 will enjoy this one.
