A new trancer from Germany on the Flow Motion label, that brought us a cool trancer before under the name Audioplacid. This new track is by Thomas Boldt and Christian Steinweg from Germany. They started a tranceproject a couple of years ago and are having a big amount of tunes lined up the coming months. This vinyl comes with three mixes.
Original Mix
For a German tranceproduction, this sounds very English, with subtle warm sounds and flowing synths. The first minutes build up in a fashionable Thrillseekers way with warm sounds gently flowing into the track. The breakdown presents a short guitar sample, before unleashing a full force melody. The hookline is not too original, but will certainly appeal to the lovers of warm, soulfull trance music. A breakbeat in the break takes a bit too much away from the attention, but when the tune lifts off it's all good for some hands in the air euphoric trance.
Marco Torrance Remix
German producer Marco Torrance follows pretty much the same style as the Original Mix. The focus lies less on the melody, but more in the hypnotising, soulfull strings that guide you to the track. It's produced slightly less overwhelming then the original. The kick could have been a little thighter, but all in all a nice "oldschool" trancer.
Boldt & Steinweg Mix
Remix from the same guys that did the original. This is the most bangin', energetic mix of the the three and also my less favourite. By putting in alot of effects and synths, it feels a little bit too chaotic. Especially after the break the tracks turns into a total mish-mash with electric effects, synths and sounds that it must be hard to follow for the average dancefloor jumper.
Conclusion
Solid release, if you forget the Boldt & Steinweg Mix. Warm, atmospheric tracks, that don't stand out in the whole scene, but will satisfy the lovers of Chicane-ish, Thrillseeker-ish stuff.
