The way this baby starts off promises an uplifting monster! Rough beat from the head start, backed up with some dirty bass on top of which the buildup starts taking form. A lot of electro sounds, with the deep pumping beat refusing to allow you to catch a breath. You start begging it to take a break, but it just goes on and on with a neverending flow of uplifting energy. It gets even worse when the lead melody is added to the buildup; this is when you start wondering who to respond to: your body screaming of exhaustion, or the relentless state of music that Mr. van Eyden has compelled us to endeavour in. The answer to all your questions lies in the breakdown, a breakdown of epic proportions, characterized by a classical symphony of strings that end up metamorphosing into a crescendo of anthemic mayhem! Uplifting Trance rarely sounds that good!

It's difficult to picture how the original version could possibly be bettered. What Darren Christian started with here is a longish intro that expresses the need for bass, a bass that is soon supplied with a dry kick that gets things started. The buildup keeps escalating for the coming minutes, until the breakdown finally arrives: no epic symphony here, not even the entire melody, just a sharpened chunk of it layered upon a basic but thrusty beat. Not too impressive if you compare it to the other two mixes...

The last remix of this release is by Genix (remember his collaboration with Andy Bagguley on Aries?) who transforms this uplifting stormer into a melodic trip to paradise. A less pumping beat but not at all chilled neither. The vocals from the original mix start getting hinted in the buildup. The breakdown finally transcends after 3 minutes, the classical aura maintained, with the trancy melody played very deep at first, then unleashed to the surface for a total hands-in-the-air moment, until the beat is dropped back in and the climax is finally reached! I can tell you one thing: I am jumping in my seat as I am writing this review! Shortly afterwards, a breakbeat is implemented prior to one final explosion of Trance exaltation! Mindblowing remix from Genix!
