Liberation was Matt Darey's first massive UK chart hit under his own name back in 1999 and helped pave the way for the Trance explosion of the same year. Ferry Corsten delivers the classic mix of Liberation that shook clubland and Solar Stone deliver a deeper interpretation with one of their finest remix moments.
Moody signified Matt’s return to production after 2 years away from the studio and struck a chord with every major Trance DJ including PVD, Tiesto, Armin, Ferry, and also became UK Radio One's tune of the week twice in a row with Dave Pearce & Judge Jules.
Matt then followed on with a harder edged trancer for the underground clubs called Electro Buzz.
Then in January 2004, Matt released the Voice of an Angel EP featuring the massive purist Trance floor filler Nocturnal Delight which gained massive support from all the major players (Tiesto, PVD, Armin, Tiesto, Judge Jules, Dave Pearce, Johan Gielen, JFK, Scott Bond, Agnelli & Nelson, Lange, Pulsar, Tall Paul) and more, and clinched Mixmag’s #1 tune.
