The Trance diva is back! To many, including myself, Jan Johnston has the most intoxicating voice among all Trance vocalists. After a long break, Jan is back in a collaboration with Serge Devant (who?), and with a Filo & Peri remix on the flipside!

Jan makes us wait 3 additional minutes before her bewildering voice is finally heard. As usual, Jan selects her lyrics word by word, always delivering poetic vocals on a voice worthy of the title "diva". The structure is fairly simple, placing more emphasis on Jan's breathtaking vocal capacities, but the bassline is bouncy enough to keep the groove on. The breakdown is announced with Jan telling you "I'm yours, eternally yours"; what more could you ask for? The beat drops back in alongside the melody, very much in the Above & Beyond style, and with those exalted vocals this is infinite euphoria.

The way the original track is curved just asks for a fix from the American cowboys. A beatless intro on this one, followed by a typically melodic buildup. The vocals are dropped in earlier than the original mix, louder too, and slightly more upbeat - it's all good! Sweeter than candy breakdown, short though especially with the length of the remix (6:01), but good nonetheless. The beat drops back in with a driving bassline and Jan's soothing voice. Heaven!

I have never heard a more enchanting voice than that of Jan Johnston. What I also like about her is her deep & touching lyrics. One hell of a release, and I have a gut feeling that we will see more remixes of this gem in the near future; indeed there is a Benz & MD remix that is not yet released, but what I'm hoping for is a more uplifting touch! But for now, Jan's magical chant will do :)
