Any trance fan that knows his stuff, knows how big of a legend Darren Tate is. Although he prefers to remain almost unknown, you certainly cannot miss his productions. Released on his own label, Mondo Records, Tokyo/Vespers follows suit with the Englishman's other productions and delivers two tracks that would do great on any dance floor.
Tokyo is a peak-time track with a thumping bass line and beautiful melodies, with a breakdown that is as good as any you've heard recently.
Vespers is more of an uplifting track that incorporates beautiful and simple side melodies that have been one of Tate's trademarks over the years. Personally, it reminded me a bit of my favorite production of him: Elevation. Although I'm not saying it's as good as Elevation, but if you know that track, then you know that any track that is compared to it simply MUST be good!
