Dreamboy's beloved Lange is back with a sweet vocal trancer. Starts off with a very basic beat, with the vocals introduced early on the track. The vocalist ix Xan from Matt Darey's "Wanna Be An Angel". The song structure remains very basic, very 1998ish; me likie! The breakdown is characterized by deep warm pads and the vocalist beautifully saying "I'm in love again". The melody is, expectedly, retro as well. If anyone has a problem with the way Trance sounded back in its early days and with producers occasionally returning to that style please leave this forum instantly
X-Odus ~ I'm In Love Again [Mike Monday & Wildfruit Remix]
The second mix off this vinyl is more housey. It immediately reminded me of Aluna ~ All Of My Life. If you don't mind House too much (and you honestly shouldn't!) then get this rework too.
X-Odus ~ I'm In Love Again [Mr. Haywood Remix]
The third mix off this vinyl is housey as well. The Filter effect is heavily implemented here, making the structure a bit more interesting than the Mike Monday & Wildfruit remix... it's more melodic as well. The breakdown on this mix is interesting too. I liked this remix more than the previous housey one.
X-Odus ~ I'm In Love Again [Kenny Hayes Remix]
The last remix on this vinyl brings the Trance groove back in the sack. You may remember Kenny Hayes from his collaboration with Gill Tennant on Daybreaker a couple of months back. Anyhoo, pitched-up beat and synth keys are soon followed by the vocals. Short and very club-oriented remix; nothing too special about the breakdown nor the melody. The Original Mix is still by far the best one yet.
