Posted: Tue Aug 31, 2004 12:12 amDJ Sammy is one of the talented German who has been on the scene for quite sometime.. he had several great hits accross the world like "Heaven" , "Boys of Summer", "California Dreaming" and "sunlight" and now his new single is out "Rise Again"
this tune is somehow similar to his usual productions which might fall under the commercial category with 1 important notice that his productions are somehow quality.. just like Ian Van Dahl and Lasgo.. but that's not it.. this track is somehow even less commercial.. it had decent vocals (female) and the melody is really sweet with some trancy spacy elements that will definitely make this song a global hit.. highly recommended for introducing Trance to ppl newly exposed to our beloved style..
now i can imagine some of you guys starting to give me such mocking look (yeah like you DIONYSOS!!
) as it's commercial by your standards.. well to cut the chase i'd ask you to bare a lil with me..
in fact the Vinyl comes with 4 versions and it is as follows:

whereas the Instrumental Mix is somehow less commercial (since female vocals tend to be no1 target of commercial trance..) and the last version is a Housy interpretation of the original (which is decent for a house tune btw..) the one that should grab your attention is the 3rd track of better known as the "Viframa Remix".
Viframa (the 3 brothers: Vicente, Francisco and Marcos Ruiz) who were responsible for the great "CRISTALLE" back in 2000 happens to be on the remix for this new track and what a hell of a remix they delivered.. one Melodic masterpiece that it's been so long since we heard anything like it.. we've been really lucky to have some nice progressive and uplifting tunes lately.. but melodic was the least.. and this one comes really in time.. oh those guitar sounds are really overwhelming.. "Cristalle" reborn!!
Highly Highly recommended!! especially for DIONYSOS and Dreamboy.. guys if you havent heard this one.. be sure to check it out.. it ownz!!
