The hugely anticipated debut album Authenticity from the illustrious duo Ernesto vs. Bastian has finally hit the streets!

With 1,5 year in the making, the wait has been long for the real Ernesto vs. Bastian fan, but their patience has been rewarded, as the hugely anticipated debut album from the illustrious duo Ernesto vs. Bastian has finally hit the streets! The album is receiving raving reviews from press all over the globe. Although we’re still at the beginning of 2008, many already acclaim this as one of the best trance artist albums to be released this year.

The album, Authenticity, features loads of new exclusive and unreleased material, as to expect, but also includes their hits such as Unchained Melody, the classic Dark Side of The Moon, for which the guys recorded a new version specially for the album. And of course the Trance Energy 2008 theme Thrill is also to be found on the album.

Their recent hit Thrill has been taking over trance land for the last few months. Besides the fact that it’s Trance Energy 2008 theme, the single has reached the #1 positions in sales charts from leading digital shops such as: Beatport, Trackitdown, DJ Download and Dance Tunes. Aside that the record is currently making it’s way into the top regions of dance charts around the world. In their home country, Holland, the single already reached #1 position in all dance charts and is making it’s way to the top regions of the national sales chart.

With their recent single taking over dance land, a debut album gaining raving reviews and the new single Super Jupiter already creating a buzz in the dj circuit (coming end of March), Ernesto vs. Bastian are on course for a big year!

The album Authenticity is now available as download and on CD.

Thrill #1 everywhere? That shows how the scene sucks more and more day after day... if the rest of the album is similar to Thrill, then "no thx"!

I'm not basing on Thrill only :) Sander Van Doorn's tracks also were at the top of charts when released... (Grasshopper, Riff)... *sigh* ;/

I had the chance to get the full album. After listening to it, I can say that it can be placed under the "not bad at all" category!
"9. Remind" is such a nice track; its melody is lovely! Same goes to "3. Dive in your Love "

I suggest you guys give the album a listen before jumping into conclusions. Some tracks do not deserve to be judged on the expense of other ones.

Thank you Rania for the interesting review!
