Metaverse is DJ Orkidea's second artist album after the critically acclaimed 'Taika' from 2003. The ten track CD features collaborations with electronic heavyweights Dallas Superstars, Andy Moor, Solarstone, David West and Lowland. 'Metaverse' features big tracks such as 'YearZero', Orkideas remix of Way Out West's 'Killa' as well as the breathtaking 12 minute remix journey of 'Bye Bye Beautiful' by metal legends Nightwish.

Orkidea has been one of Scandinavia's leading electronic music artists for the past 15 years and his long experience within trance genre is easily heard with influences from old school german trance, BT style breakbeats, Vangelis and Jarre, classic progressive house sound of Renaissance and even modern day psy-trance. The album offers a fresh and
unique approach to trance: simultanously retrospective and futuristic, hypnotic and driving, very melodic yet dancefloor friendly.

Armin promoted a few tracks from the album in his ASOT episodes! So i had the chance to listen to God's Garden, Slowmotion, Masochrist. Those 3 are nice! No need to talk about Yearzero and Eternal Love since we already know them :D

Modern day psy-trance?! Show me! :)

One of todays better producers , thats for sure ... !

However ,

I expected God's Garden to be better saraha , inno orkidea and david west people !!!

Masochrist is good ... very original and the melody is catchy ...

need to listen to the rest soon

EDIT ..... GOD'S GARDEN ROX !!!

I can't agree more.

I also had the chance to get the full album (don't ask me how :D).
Metaverse is an OUTSTANDING tune, it perfectly fits the intro position of the album. The whole album is "OH MY GOD".

God's Garden is such a disappointment, especially from two trance monsters David west and Orkidea... IMHO of course..

Never got the chance to listen to the album, but knowing some tracks that have been featured on ASOTs and many other shows, I can say it must be good! Thanks for the update, will give it a shot as soon as possible.
The Music was New, black polished Chrome and came over the summer like liquid Night ...

-TRANCE is What You Need!
-Trance is not just a music, it's a state of mind

N.B:Viva La "UNDERGROUND" - "leave forever baby... we just like roaches... never die, always leavin... and end now... let's get back to program - Underground never die" but trance isn't underground...

-is this....THE LARNE EXPRESS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
