WOW!
If you're a fan of Ambient Trance or Chillout, this album is a MUST!
Russian duo Alexander Shukaev and Alexander Gerukha a.k.a. Sensorica are well-known for their Trance productions ever since 2004, making their debut with the global smash single Few Days Away and the epic remix of Li Kwan's Point Zero, but are perhaps most famous for their appearance on Tiesto's ISOS4, closing CD2 with the never yet released Only One.
But now they offer us a different side of their production abilities through the most underrated sub-genre of Trance: Ambient. Quadrivium is a magical album full of dreamy melodies, enchanting vocals, and natural sounds, all arranged with such crisp clarity that you are bound to travel to another world. With its emotional piano rolls and shivering synth pads, Quadrivium is the best Ambient Trance album I have listened to since Airwave's CD3 of Trilogique!
I highly, highly recommend this to anyone who's still into Trance for the love of melodies, not for the dirty basslines and techy sounds. It's about time we bring back the melody!
