I first heard the Mark Otten Remix in one of ASOT episodes. The track quickly strikes you with its vigorous kicks and dark pumping KILLER bassline. Elements added give an unmistakable thrilling and exciting feeling. At 2:58 mark, the track is all about the relentlessly driving bassline, intersected with assaulting haunting stabs. Slowly building up, it engages in the twirly symphony of dark edgy elements and melody.
A definite bomb that i've been waiting its release date for ages!!
On the other side of the release is the Original Mix. And after a bit of research, i discovered that S'N'S - Conflicts was one hell of a track back in the 1996, which means that it is one hell of a classic to us! The track was released on the legendary deal recordings and was a definite hit, which let it to make an appearance on many well-known Compilations.
S'N'S is a project formed by the 2 famous producers: Sander Kleinenberg and Stef Vrolijk. SNS was found way back in the 90's, and has become less active in 2000 and on.
The Original Mix has the essence of the dark edgy mood present in the first track. The 'older version' of elements used takes you back to the 90'. Just like Otten's Remix, at min 2:40 is a small breakdown, after which the track is rendered into the pumping dark bassline. Gradual addition of kicking elements, riffs, and melody builds the track back up until reaching its Eargasmic, Mesmerizing peak at 5:20!
Simply brilliant. Makes you wanna dig all those old classics out instantly!
Guess oldies are goldies after all...
I thought i loved Mark Otten's remix, but the Original surely OWNS! Don't miss this one out!
