Firefly, or the absolute BOMB that has been taking the trance scene by storm, since it was first introduced in one of ASOT's episodes till its last apperance in ASOT 2007, is finally getting a release on Armada Label!
Mike Foyle presents 'Love Theme Dusk' and 'Shipwrecked''s follow up that is equally as huge, if not more!
Original Mix features kicks off with a strong rolling bassline intersected by shattery elements. Soft mellowy chunks of melodies give the track beautiful dreamy depths and a sense of anticipation for something coming up.
Breakdown hits at 2:33, losing the bassline but keeping the melodies, with the emergence of a HUGE piano lead! This has got to be one of the best melodies i ever heard!! Sad, strong, bitter, angry, teasing, and absolutely gorgeous are some of the words i could describe the piano notes. Any Piano-lover would absolutely fall for this.
Track kicks back again with piano coming with bassline! Definitely the highligt of it!
Afterwards, however, things start to get somehow repetitive, especially after the 5th minute, with no much addition of elements or change of beats.
But still is a b00mb!!
Mark Sherry's Outburst Remix adds even more depth, vibe, and drive to the original! Combining different synths with the piano, giving it a bouncy feeling, and dropping slices of it before the main Original-Like piano breakdown followed by mega-kick ins and high are the main aspect of the remix. Loud, alerting, and banging style, making this not any less of a bomb either!!!
Loved both equally. Equally ALOT.
