Activate Morlack - Massive

A return to the fold with a blazingly fresh release of intense music certain
to tweak every last brain cell into complete and utter psychedelic
submission after the staggering release of the debute Illegal
Remixes in 2001.
Massive is the aptly named album of bass lines that bash, beats that
smash, cymbals that clash, and builds that crash in an ecstatic pirouette
that knows no boundaries. Although the album seemed a bit off at certain
times, but even the most restrained, uptight listener will quite simply have
to get up and move for it. I liked the teasers in the album, the album
doesn't seem to hammer off: instead, it flings along nicely with short
catchy melodies.
This album is all Morlack, and all completely Activated. From riffs that will
revive lost memories to builds that will have you question reality,
Massive shakes the psy scene into a technicolor dream with the
audio masterfully mastered by Silicon Sound with two tunes standing
out from the rest of the album: Fascination Dream & Awapowa
A high end pure psy album of which some might find repelling but it passed
my review standards.
The samples that I found don't highlight much and I apologize for not
dedicating the time to record my own samples.
