So your saying that you like it? And you were raving to get online and bang -
Gen beats you to it. You crying? Yea, whine you little hairy frog!

Or maybe you liked it so much, you were going to suck my chocolate balls?

(because I personally don't mind)

Yea but that's what I've been trying to tell you whenever we spoke about
psy and led the debate about the quality of its produtions lately.

Yes, we do have monotonous sounds.
But also, YES we do have class wicked unique sounds that will never cease to
drop your jaws and leaving you with a sweet migraine!
Psy is not all acid-baring 144 bpm tunes, it's prog, it's full-on, it's dark, it's
mystic and it's also melodic. It's only up to you to grab the ones that
appeals most to you.

You can throw a party and play nothing but psy all night because it's just
so vast and diverse that it'll take you through the warm, the peak, the
afterhours, and even the chillout to cool it off at sunrise. You need not play
anything else.

Psy has become a genre of its own now Sam.

Personally I aint too much of a Psy fan but some of the Old stuff were good by Transient label, most of the artists are Israeli like Astral Projection and Infected Mushroom, saying that I dont mix music with Politics.... Il check them out Genesis

You're speaking of the good ol' mid 90's Goa sound that is still admirable
and valued by most psy purists. And yea Astral Projection are the bedrock
of Goa trance with Raja Ram but you're really missing out on very good
stuff in the modern psy sound as well.

As for the Israeli side of the argument: I don't think music has anything to
do with origins, conflicts, or politics. It's a universal message of peace that
they (the Israelis) are very much stressing on. Many psy tunes lyrics
(when there is any) demand peace while others are simply prayers in
various languages (including arabic by the way).

I can confidently say that a person who listens and understand EDM is
suphosticated and open-minded enough to differentiate between global
conflicts and the musical entity, purpose, and culture.

(oh and Infected Mushroom are at their best when performing live - they
are quite disappointing on their CDs in my opinion. I won't buy a CD for
them, but I have no second thoughts in seeing them perform the very
same album live - 180 degree difference!)
