After what the old ‘Punishment’ compact disk released on 2004 has offered the Psychedelic Trance music scene, the Chemical Crew remain the same Psychedelic sound in order to create a new double album called ‘The Angry Brigade’: representing the new Void sound, these new compact disks are all about refreshing sounds and quality elements, merging between different kinds and styles of electronic music and especially delivering a beautiful unique Psychedelic elements. Starting with ‘James Brown Is Dead’ in the first compact disk , everything seems dark and deep, up and downs added a special value to the play-list which has progressively warmed up for the quick push at the middle of the length, rushing and faster beats were as normally dominating therefore to furnish the typical yet absolutely nice Psychedelic sound. Male vocals were supporting the hard style in ‘Find My Name’, which swiftly turns out to be smooth through a quick reduce of beats and sounds in ‘Machine 2’, my favorite track in the album with its mind-blowing electric guitar riffs and amazing tough style just after that melodic twinkling breakdown.To highlight some new stuff in the second compact disk, it is all about smoothness and silence at the beginning, turns out to be a little bit hard yet always remaining these gentle breakdowns including kind piano riffs: not really my type, but worth a listen after all (neither both Part 1 or 2 for Hero appealed, nothing clicked). Hence obviously I prefer CD 1 over CD 2 since it contains the straight full on Psychedelic sound that I like listening to. Released on a Chemical Crew imprint, 06.
