John Marks ~ Carnival
Speaking of DJs Producers who in a very short period of time swiftly develop their talents and strike the trance music scene with a great positive work, then obviously talking about talented artists such as John Marks who is making a great name in the Dj-ing field after working on producing several productions at the past, only to name ‘Don’t Stop’, ‘Do It Again’, and of course the beautiful cooperation production with Roy gates: New Life. Yet to be back on track again, John Marks offers again another piece of his sublime work: Carnival.
New smashing single from John, the Club Mix perfectly fits in a dance floor ambience, where both Tech Music lovers and Uplifting Sound listeners could perfectly unite and dance for only one theme: Trance Music. Hard beats are quite noticeable at the beginning, greatly put on a high cutting edge along with magnificent melodies set at the background. Reaching the breakdown, the main melody appears to be dropped away along side with some other techy-ish elements, yet remaining the usual uplifting materials the bassline finally took place after a quick reduce of crisp beats. Getting back on track, up and downs were added which finally supported the typical Tech & Uplifting sound combination. Deserves a 8/10 in my opinion.
To mention the word Electro could be considered as a quick hint for a new style being merged with the main melodic sound: speaking of the Electrotech Mix, heavier and massive beats offered the original track a unique and amazing feeling. Sounds were noticeably cooler during the usual melodic breakdown, and much ferocious at the electro-ish bassline, in order to give the listeners a different version of Carnival and a way much different sound than the one in the Club Mix, a good mix in my opinion. However it really depends on taste: The Club Mix can swiftly appeal to the uplifting sound lovers, yet the Electrotech mix is dedicated to electro music fans.
Remaining the trance music energy, the Global Warming Vocal Club Mix sounds the same when it comes to uplifting and tech Trance elements. Yet offering more energy and adding more cutting sounds, the Globad Warming Vocal Club Mix draws its own unique path: same melodic style, but harder warm up for the massive bassline. Equally distinguished with what the Club Mix has offered, both are quality and the two mixes are absolutely pumpin’.
There you go, here you can make sure that John Marks works for the sake of Trance Music in a beautiful proper way, and surely biased to a hard/Club Style.
Last but not least, another mix added to the vinyl did a not bad[/b] change on the other side, by always keeping the main melody, involving more lower minimal beats, Dj Jose Mix is all about a bit of smoothness and gentle style[i](first thoughts). Everything turns out to be different at the middle of length; a brisk bassline changed the whole structure and made it look more complicated, by always keeping these up and downs and by also adding several good changes: different hard style and same type of music which always pushes you to increase your self enthusiasm.
Expecting a great success for ‘Carnival’, already entered the top 40 hits. Definatly a powerful track supported by clubs and famous tech/uplifting trance Djs.
